 Los trabajadores de SOLARIS (CAF) piden apoyo

Queridos amigos,

 Gracias a todos por vuestras cartas de solidaridad con los trabajadores en huelga de Solaris en Polonia. Me gustaría aprovechar esta oportunidad para poneros al día de la situación actual en Solaris.

Desde el 24 de enero, cuando empezó la huelga, SOLARIS (CAF) no ha negociado con los trabajadores. Hoy es el 16º día de huelga. Los directivos siguen siendo reacios a cualquier forma de diálogo con los trabajadores en huelga. El director general de Solaris también sigue negándose a dejar que los expertos y negociadores externos de los sindicatos entren en el lugar de trabajo. Esto incluye también al presidente del Consejo de Diálogo Social.

 La semana pasada hubo dos manifestaciones frente a la fábrica; una el lunes y la segunda el jueves.

 Vemos que los políticos de izquierdas han prestado un apoyo extraordinario. Recientemente, el copresidente de la Izquierda y el vicepresidente del Parlamento, el Sr. Włodzimierz Czarzasty, y el copresidente de la Izquierda, Robert Biedroń (que también es eurodiputado), enviaron una carta al líder del PSOE y presidente del Gobierno español, Pedro Sànchez. Se adjunta su carta en español. El señor Czarzasty el miércoles de la semana pasada fue a Solaris en persona. Nadie de los directivos se reunió con él.

 La huelga sigue en pie. Mantenemos la visibilidad de la huelga en los medios tradicionales y en las redes sociales. También seguimos recogiendo apoyo económico a través del crowdfunding.  Dear Friends,

 

 Thank you all for your letters of solidarity for workers striking in Solaris in Poland. I would like to take this opportunity and update you with a current situation in Solaris.

  Since 24th January, when the strike started, no negotiations with workers have been held. Today is the 16th day of strike. The managers are still reluctant to any form of dialogue with striking workers. The Solaris CEO also still refuses to let the trade unions external experts and negotiators to enter the workplace. It includes also the chairman of the Social Dialogue Council.

 There were two demonstration in front of the factory last week; one on Monday and the second on Thursday.

  We see outstanding support done by the Left politicians. Recently, the co-chairman of the Left and the Vice-Marshall of the Parliament Mr. Włodzimierz Czarzasty and Left’s co-chairman Robert Biedroń (who is also the MEP) sent a letter to the leader of the PSOE and the Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sànchez. Please find their letter in Spanish enclosed. Mr. Czarzasty on Wednesday last week went to the Solaris himself. No one from the managers met with him.

 The strike is still going on. We keep the strike’s visibility in traditional media and in social media. We also still collect financial support via crowdfunding.
